Each territory runs its own immigration control; British citizens get limited leave to remain, not settlement (e.g. Cayman PR is points/investment-based).

All BOTCs became full British citizens on 21 May 2002 (except Cyprus SBAs): UK right of abode + CTA rights. Territory-to-UK direction is fully open; UK-to-territory is gated.
