Limited citizenship connected to birth in Jordan
A person born in Jordan to a Jordanian mother and a father who is unknown, stateless or whose filiation is not established is Jordanian. A foundling in Jordan is presumed born there and is Jordanian unless the contrary is proved. Birth in Jordan to two foreign parents is not general jus soli.
